Moving and shaking

After 10 months Tania has completed her work as script editor on the children’s animated series Sumo Mouse. But then, completely out of the blue, she has been signed up to write the pilot episode for a brand new series. As soon as that’s done it’s onto the telemovie… yes, you heard right, telemovie! Unfortunately, we’re unable to go into details but it’s all systems go at this point.

Between projects, Tania’s taking a short break during which she is working hard devising a new tv project in collaboration with Chris Anastassiades (The Wog Boy, Yolngu Boy). Though it too is pretty top secret, rumour has it that it draws largely on Tania’s experiences in the world of showbiz. Tania was pretty tight lipped about it other than to say

it’s controversial, courageous and damned near the most hilarious thing I’ve ever done…and I’ve only written the first page!

Girl Friday wins Best Entertainment award

Girl Friday won the coveted Best Entertainment award at the 14th annual AIMIA Awards in Sydney on Friday 7 March. The AIMIA Awards are the peak Australian multimedia industry awards, acknowledging excellence in new media content production.

A judging panel of over 120 Australian and international experts from across the interactive media spectrum selected 21 award winners from a high calibre of finalists, ranging from small businesses to larger, well-established organisations.

Script editing Sumo Mouse

Tania has begun work as script editor for the TV series Sumo Mouse. The Australian series is produced by Moody St Kids, developed and produced with the assistance of Film Victoria, and produced for Network Ten Australia. Southern Star is the world wide distributor.

Blogger Girl Back on Track

After the long break imposed by work on G2G, Tania is back on her film script. This next draft is due on September 12 so lots to do. Watch this space.
